Keep a short stop notebook

For each place, record its name, location, visit date and why you stopped. Add practical observations that mattered to your group, such as the type of seating or how long you chose to stay.

Write a sentence about what made the stop memorable. A photograph can help, but avoid including strangers or private details unnecessarily. Keep receipts and booking information in a separate private folder.

When using the notebook for a later trip, recheck details that may have changed. Your notes are a record of one visit, not a guarantee of present conditions.
